Women In History
Join Karen Harper, a historian and history professor at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, as she shares her knowledge and love of history with our community. Using diaries, images, and various primary sources, Karen will bring to life the experiences of women who helped settle Gilbert, Arizona. Come and hear about the unique adventures of wives, women ranchers, homesteaders, and merchants, and discover what their unique impact was on Gilbert’s history! Registration is required.
