Clarkdale Old Fashioned 4th of July

July 4 @ 7:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join the Town of Clarkdale for its annual Old-Fashioned Fourth of July celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The festivities kick off at 7 a.m. in Clarkdale Town Park, located at 1001 Main St., and conclude at noon. Clarkdale will offer traditional activities throughout the morning, so you’ll want to arrive early to make sure you don’t miss a thing.

The event begins at 7 a.m. with the Presentation of the Colors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7400 and a welcome address by Mayor Robyn Prud’homme-Bauer. The pancake breakfast will run from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and is hosted by the Clarkdale Police Department and Verde Valley Fire District. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

For the USA 250 celebration, the annual Kids’ Parade is expanding, and all community members are invited to walk, roll, and stroll down Main Street! For those on foot, registration takes place July 4 at Clarkdale-Jerome School, 1615 Main St., beginning at 8:15 a.m. Kids can win cash prizes and ribbons, and all entries will receive a small gift. Bonus points will be awarded for creativity, small-town charm, history and sustainability.

Motorized floats are also permitted this year and must be preregistered by June 22 at clarkdale.az.gov/250floats. No day-of registrations will be accepted. Participants are encouraged to decorate their float, vehicle or trailer in either the “Old-Fashioned Fourth of July” theme or the USA 250 theme. Float staging instructions and parade lineup details will be provided upon registration. There is no cost to enter the parade. Please review the parade rules before arriving to ensure your entry meets all requirements.
