America 250 Celebration – Phoenix Edition

July 4 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The North Mountain Visitor Center is operated by the Save Our Mountains Foundation in collaboration with the Phoenix Mountain Preservation Council and the Central Arizona Mountain Rescue Association.

We will be hosting a water drive benefiting the Desert Mission Food Bank. Community members are encouraged to bring cases of bottled water, which will be collected and picked up by the food bank on July 6.

As part of our America 250 celebration, we are partnering with Rattlesnake Garage and the Phoenix Mountain Preservation Council. Mark and Amanda from Rattlesnake Garage will present on the history of Arizona desert wildlife and share important desert safety information.

Tickets are $5 per adult, with proceeds supporting animal feeding and care. Attendees can also enjoy America 250-themed coloring sheets, bookmarks, postcards, stickers, and other activities. Representatives from the Phoenix Mountain Preservation Council will share the history of the Phoenix Mountain Preserves and provide educational materials and stickers.

Please be advised, this is a ticketed event.
