Walk Among the Dinosaurs at Picacho Peak (Jurassic World Alive) at Picacho Peak State Park
March 22 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Walk amongst the dinosaurs in our Arizona deserts! Millions of years ago, this land belonged to the giants. The environment was different from the desert you see around you today. These giants have long since left this world but, through the magic of science, we have been able to determine what this land was like back in those days.
Join our rangers on a short walk on the Children’s Cave Trail while we learn about the past!
45-minute hike. Please bring water, a hat, wear your hiking shoes and a phone.
This event is part of Outdoors250, a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and Arizona’s natural heritage. By participating in this event, you can enter to win Outdoors250 prizes by signing up at AZStateParks.com/Outdoors250.
