Join us for the 4th Annual Verde Valley Stand Down, dedicated to honoring Verde Valley veterans and held in memory of James David Warfield, USMC. This special event will take place on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cliff Castle Conference Center, located at 555 W. Middle Verde Road, Camp Verde, AZ.
In cooperation with the Yavapai Apache Tribe, this event aims to connect homeless, at-risk veterans, and their families with essential community services. Attendees can access a wide range of support, including VA enrollment and programs, hygiene kits, employment services and a job fair, housing support, medical, dental, and vision assistance, Veterans’ Court information, notary services, and more. A special reception for women veterans will also be featured.
The event is supported by numerous organizations, including the Arizona Department of Veteran Services, Arizona Veterans Stand Down Alliance, and various veteran service organizations.
The Stand Down is a Veterans Initiative of “Northern Arizona Veteran Stand Downs” (NAZVSD) in cooperation with the Military Order of the Purple Heart “Dale E. Crick” Chapter 793.
A comprised – professional team of Federal, State, Tribal, County, Municipal agencies, and a dedicated network of “Service Providers” connects homeless and at-risk veterans with essential services at this endeavor.
