Pearl Harbor Day Commemoration & Celebration

December 6 @ 10:55 am - 12:00 pm

The Pearl Harbor Day commemoration is scheduled to start at 10:55, the time that the Japanese attack started at Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. This event commemorates Pearl Harbor: “A Date Which Will Live In Infamy.”

Honoring America’s Veterans is proud to present the Commemorating Pearl Harbor Day Ceremony. This tradition is one that is sure to touch the hearts of those who understand the sacrifices our military and veterans make in defending our freedoms. We commemorate the anniversary of December 7, 1941, when the Japanese bombed our ships and fields at Naval Base Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. On that day 2,403 people were killed, 21 ships were damaged or sunk including the USS Arizona, and the U.S. lost 347 aircraft. In 2022, the Arizona Department of Veterans Services asked Honoring America’s Veterans to manage the Pearl Harbor Day Event. This event pays tribute by commemorating the anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day and its significance. The event is held outdoors at Wesley Bolin Plaza and includes a military themed event and wreath presentations.
