The Sunnyslope Historical Society is proud to invite you to a very special morning with Arizona’s Official State Balladeer, Dolan Ellis!
For more than 60 years, Dolan has preserved and celebrated Arizona’s rich history through his music and storytelling. Now, after retiring from live musical performances, he is sharing his incredible journey through his new memoir, Adventures of a Balladeer: An Inspiring Memoir on Listening to Your Inner Voice, Following Your Dreams, and Finding Your Hozho.
Join us as Dolan shares stories from his remarkable life — from his years as a traveling folk singer and member of the Grammy Award-winning New Christy Minstrels to his unforgettable adventures exploring Arizona’s highways, back roads and hidden treasures.
