Arizona Statehood Celebration
February 14 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Join us as we celebrate what makes Arizona the unique state it is today. Not only is Arizona known for its diverse people and cultures, but it is also known for the 5 C’s: cattle, copper, cotton, citrus, and climate. Discover what life was like for the people of Arizona under the various flags that flew over the state from New Spain to statehood, and see how the 5 C’s are represented throughout our history!
Demonstrations, displays, and activities include the making of fresh tortillas, musket drills, cannon firings, mining, learning to rope a cow, blacksmiths, and more! In honor of Arizona being the Valentine State, sample Mexican hot chocolate at the comal!
