America Semiquincentennial and the Town of Oro Valley
As part of its ongoing America Semiquincentennial commemoration, the Oro Valley Historical Society unveils the third segment of its annual exhibit. Visit the Pusch House Museum at Steam Pump Ranch to explore America Semiquincentennial and the Town of Oro Valley, tracing the struggles of the patriots, Arizona’s statehood efforts, and Oro Valley’s beginnings. In addition, our naturalist will be on-site for two gentle hour-long guided tours around the Ranch. The tours will end at our Heritage Garden where visitors can see a replica of a Tohono O’odham pit house surrounded by heritage plants in bloom. Today there is a fund-raiser to help our garden bloom. Please see website for items we need. Volunteers will be present to share more, and tours are free with donations appreciated.
